High Blood Pressure

Arteriosclerosis, obesity, stress, excessive salt intake, nervous tension, kidney malfunction and many other factors make it necessary for the heart to work harder in order to pump blood and nutrients to the various body parts. In an attempt to defend itself and correct the situation, the body responds with high blood pressure, otherwise known as hypertension. As this is a symptomatic condition, an attempt to identify and resolve the cause is necessary before attempting to eliminate the symptom.

Recommended Action

Herbs like cayenne, garlic, ginger and the herbal formula Reishi Extract dissolve and remove deposits of precipitated impurities. Avoid mucus forming foods which clog up the bloodstream. It is also wise to avoid overeating, tension and stress, and to eliminate any excess weight. Juice fasts are beneficial if properly conducted. It is usesful to use essential fatty acids like Fish oil or Krill. Ensure that the heart and circulatory system are properly nourished. For more information see Heart and Arteriosclerosis.
